Home for the Holidays
Dec 2, 2007
After a successful 3 months of writing here in the UK I'll be back in the US for about a month around the holidays. Look out for at least 1 possible full band show in New York City. More info to follow on that, I'm about 12 songs into the writing of a new record and it's been going great. About 1 song a week, sometimes 2. Look out very soon for a newly remodeled timemmerick.com. Should have a lot of new tasty treats. Happy Holidays . . .
Back to the lab, for a year . . .
July 20, 2007
It's with tremendous excitement that I announce that this fall I will be going back to school to work towards a Masters Degree in Songwriting. I must be honest, I never guessed that more schooling was ever in my future. I also never imagined that I would find and be selected for continued study in MY line of work. And thus, starting in October I will be packing up and shipping the Bath, UK where I will study under the guidance of songwriting, publishing cats for a full year at Bath Spa University. This program has been in the works for years and after an arduous approval process, it will be the first ever MA degree in Songwriting. I will be writing more and under heavier scrutiny than I ever have in my life and I will be compiling works for a publishing portfolio and, of course, a new record. As one might imagine, I will be quite thoroughly off the grid this upcoming year. And I will hopefully return a much better songwriter. I want to say thanks for everyone that has helped out over the last couple years. Even if you just came out to a show or told a friend about NORTH. You all have made me beileve I truly can make a go at my passion.
